Pusha T Fires Back At Drake In 'The Story Of Adidon' Diss Track

The beef between Pusha T and Drake is only getting started, it seems. After Pusha slammed Drake in his new song from his latest album DAYTONA, 'Infrared,' Drake fired back shortly thereafter with his 'Duppy Freestyle.' Now, it's Pusha's turn. Pusha T fires back at Drake in his 'The Story Of Adidon' diss track, revealing a lot about Drake and making sure he knows who has a foot ahead.

'The Story Of Adidon' has a smooth beat, which allows for Pusha T's verses to do all the talking. He starts his verse by addressing the ghostwriting he accused Drake of, saying "Drug dealin' aside, ghostwritin' aside / Let's have a heart-to-heart about your pride." Pusha takes no time to dawdle and immediately starts attacking Drake with a number of pretty damning offenses. He digs really deep initially, commenting on Drake's family life growing up ("Dennis Graham stay off the gram, bitch I'm on one / You mention wedding ring like it's a bad thing / Your father walked away at five, hell of a dad thing / Marriage is somethin' Sandi never had, Drake"), and even revealing that Drake actually has a child with Sophie Brussaux ("Since you name-dropped my fiancée / Let 'em know who you chose as your Beyoncé / Sophie knows better, ask your baby mother... A baby's involved, it's deeper than rap... You are hiding a child, let that boy come home"). Amongst other callouts, that one's pretty severe.

While destroying Drake, Pusha T also takes the time to defend himself and his friends; specifically, Kanye West: "How dare you put Ye in my verses? / I'm selfish, I want all of the curses." He attempts to keep the attention all on himself as if to say that this beef is only between them, and that others should not be brought into it. Pusha does, however, make a sort of G.O.O.D. Music versus OVO call at the end, where he teases the number of releases coming this summer for the label: "Surgical Summer, Volume 1/  We gon' take this slow / We just gon' peel it back layer-by-layer." To end the song, Pusha T shouts out his own record DAYTONA and even tosses another bar towards Drake, laughing about his mood in his recent music: "Yeah, DAYTONA, album of the motherfuckin' year / And you talkin' 'bout you upset... Well I wanna see what it's like when you get angry, okay? You show me that."

This beef is only getting started, and at this rate we may just see a full on war between G.O.O.D. Music and OVO Sound. Time to grab the popcorn. Pusha T fires back at Drake in his new diss track 'The Story Of Adidon' to take this beef one step further, and perhaps its just the spark to say for sure that this isn't just a little spat.
