Lorde's Big Comeback Is On The Horizon!

It was four years ago when you couldn't get out of your house without hearing 'Royals' somewhere. Those times may be coming back soon, because Lorde is back! She's been recording new music since 2016, and after teasing the sound of her new record, new material is on its way.

Lorde has been scheduled for some of the season's biggest festivals: you can catch her at Coachella, Governor's Ball, Bonnaroo, and more. She's even performing at European and Asian festivals, too. Festival season doesn't start until April, though... but you won't have to wait for new music for that long.

Lorde has been announced as the musical guest for the March 11 episode of Saturday Night Live. That means two things: we'll get new Lorde music before March 11, and that we'll be getting two new songs by then! It's customary for artists two perform two new songs on the show, so that means we'll have double the new music to listen to. Seems like an Ed Sheeran scenario will take place with two singles being dropped at once.

According to Idolator, new Lorde music can be expected on March 7, with her new album due out in the summer. We're getting closer and closer to new music from the young artist, and we can't wait.
